BJJ World Championship 08

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship 2008 took place in Long Beach,CA from June 5th-8th. The event was promoted by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.

Nova Uniao Arizona was well represented by Michael Westbrook, who took the 1st place in the Super Heavy /Purple Belt Division and, Pat Runez, who took 3rd place at the Super Feather/Blue Belt division.

After the tournament, Michael Westbrook received his brown belt and, Pat Runez received his purple belt.
